Glossary

Before you start, here's a few key terms you'll need 
to get to grips with:

Nobo - Northbounder. We are walking from Bluff to Picton and are Nobos.
Sobo - Southbounder. People walking from the north downwards are Sobos.
Slobo - A slow walker.
Section walker - Someone who is just walking sections of the trail.
Through Walker - Someone who is doing more than one section.
Sun Downer - Someone who arrives at a hut after dark.
TeA - Te Araroa.
Ultralight - A walker with little gear and very light gear.
Palmy - Palmerston North. The North Island city we live in.
DoC - Department of Conservation.
